16:12:57 <rayh> It was jumpered out some time back because the input is 250 and that was what the transformer was set up to make from 480.
16:13:23 <rayh> But not jumpered just that in and out were connected to the same terminals.  So it was still in the circuit.
16:16:11 <rayh> Darn.  The way they jumpered it to the secondary, it is producing 575 on the primary terminals.

19:28:49 <jmkasunich> since the machine was set up for 240, somebody said "we don't need the xmfr, lets just connect the 240V feed to the 210V terms of the xfmr, same place the load is connected"
19:29:11 <jmkasunich> so they weren't using the xfmr, but were backfeeding it with 240, so the 480 tap of the primary had about 575
