What happens if you try to attach the DXF in its raw state?

Hi
I compressed it to zip using winrar and tried opening it on another computer with winrar installed and it worked fine on Windows.

rar is notorious for producing corrupted zip files, either use 7-zip if you have to use windoze or better still use Linux
$ zip name_of_zip_file.zip /path/file_name_to_be_zipped

DXF is an allowed extension on the forum so long as the file is not bigger than 500Kb.

My file exceeds that limit. It's 1.5mb,

This time I didn't use winrar, I just right clicked and did send to compressed zip folder. Hope this works for your.
