This release contains a single bug fix for a problem that was introduced into the Axis GUI in release 2.6.6.

This release has several bug fixes and improved documentation.  All users of 2.6 are encouraged to upgrade.  Full changelog here.

Users

Use these methods for help setting up and using LinuxCNC , and for general cnc topics.

  • The primary means of contact is to join the users mailing list, hosted at Sourceforge. (there are also archives and older archives)
  • The other preferred way to contact us, is on IRC (channel #linuxcnc on irc.freenode.net), (more information about connecting with your own client, and also a link to freenode's webchat can be found on their how to use the network page).
  • The LinuxCNC Support Forum is a user maintained place to discuss LinuxCNC.
  • The LinuxCNC Wiki site contains a wealth of user contributed information about LinuxCNC and CNC

Developers

Use these methods to contribute to the development of LinuxCNC , including documentation, translation, new drivers and components.

  • Contribute to the development of LinxCNC how to.

  • Bug Reports and Feature Requests are handled by the Source Forge Tracking System.

Board

If you want to address the Board of Directors about a governance issue, you can do that by sending email to the board mailing list.
