mode 1 should add 4 analog inputs
mode 2 should add the 4 analog inputs plus field voltage
mode 3 should throw an error (well it may just cause all field I/O pins to disappear)

this is the first number in the config string
the second is for the analog out section (mode 0 only)
the third is for the expansion connector (not used unless you have an additional SSERIAL card)

Chris,

Here you go... I had a bit of a time getting it up and running, didn't seem to like the setp hm2_5125.0.watchdog.timeout_ns 10000000 line.

Chris,

This list is not complete as I didn't have the field power connected when I made it. I'll get you an updated list if you don't all ready have it...

Chris could you make the default min_ferror be around say 0.01 for servo's , then at least some movement or indication of servo movement would be known
rather than , give the impression of no output with an analog servo drive . cheers

ps. is the resolver listed for 2.4.7 or master ( or what is the trigger to show resolvers in pncconf )
although selecting resolver card pins , the resolver entrys show [AXIS0] ENCODER_SCALE
although i know it make no difference as to the names it would be good it it also changed

should the number of resolvers be able to be selected with encoders or is this all automatic
if it is it did not work with a 7i43-4 install , ( may of course work with others )

You would like the following error tolerance opened up - yes this makes sense. I actually think one axis is bigger then the rest.
resolvers are available in 2.5 / master - but you need the proper XML file which will be handmade or custom compiled (which you did I think)

Yes RESOLVER_SCALE in more intuitive and eventually i'm sure someone will have both encoders and resolvers - I'll look into it.

No currently the number of resolvers is set by the firmware. PNC doesn't allow you to deselect them.
You would have to deselect them on a daughter card bases (meaning 6 ? at a time)

I would like to know how well resolvers are currently supported by PNCconf. I cannot test it.
So thanks for the feedback I will look into these things :)

apart from the above undocumented features ( as JT like to call them ) , resolver support is looking good

Can someone explain how to properly set:

hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.1.analogout0-maxlim
hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.1.analogout0-minlim
hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.1.analogout0-scalemax

I might add sserial components need to be documented in the manpages and manual.
