Hi!
I want to connect emc2 to external controller. This controller wiil have only 4-5 buttoms (start, stop, run, left, right).
The computer will be switched on without display. How can I start emc without GUI? Is it possible?
The conection between emc2 and external controller will be via Mesa5i20 in/out pins.
May be amybody did it so? Can you help me in advice?

If the display is not turned on or fitted, does it matter if there is a GUI or not?
You should be able to wire all the necessary GUI buttons to physical buttons if you load halui.

You might find that if you delete the line in the INI file that refers to AXIS that no GUI is loaded, I am not entirely sure.
