emc2_2.4.1 Release
A fresh bugfix release (Changelog). You can get it: as a source package from sourceforge , from Git , or as a precompiled package which works on Ubuntu as described here .
 
Ubuntu 8.04&EMC2 Live CD
The EMC2 team has a custom Live-CD (EU mirror) based on Ubuntu 8.04 with emc 2.3.x included, that will let you try out EMC2 before installing, and it's also the easiest way to install Ubuntu and EMC2 together. (more)

Hi Guys, I'm glad to see a test flight of an online forum. Great stuff.
I too have experienced strange login procedures. I hope this can be fixed.
BTW I have always used SMF for forums since it is free and VERY reliable.
I dont know if the test will be quite accurate for determining popularity due to the way the forum is hidden and its odd login.

BTW I may not post much for a while since I have sold all my CNC machines. Hopefully in the future though.

I agree! I could hardly find the forum even after I was told it existed. The login behavior is also aggravating and quite non-standard.
